International Youth Arts Festival 2017 will take place in Kingston this summer from 7-16 July.

Now in its 9th year, the festival, run by Creative Youth Charity, showcases the very best of youth arts. Applications to take part in IYAF Kingston 2017 are now open.

Theatre, music, dance, film, comedy, circus, cabaret, visual arts, workshops and other art forms will be celebrated and championed for the 10 days of the festival by emerging young artists from all over the world.

Applications are open to any arts projects involving young people aged 5-26 years old and work will be programmed into venues in Kingston upon Thames, London.

Successful applicants will be given extra performance opportunities at the festival including gala events, carnival processions, performance slots on outdoor stages, collaborative events and informal evening sessions. The IYAF team will work with all the visiting companies to co-ordinate these opportunities.

There’s a registration fee of £120 (including VAT) or £100 if you apply before 16 December 2016. You don’t have to pay any venue fees.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, 27 January 2017. IYAF should be in touch with groups or individuals if they have been successful by 24 February 2017.
